Boeing BA.N hid safety problems with its 737 MAX jet when LOT Polish Airlines picked the popular single-aisle jet in 2016 to anchor its plans to recover from its significant financial troubles at the time, the airline's attorney argued on Monday in U.S. District Court in Seattle.

CRYPTOCURRENCIES

On Tuesday, the Polish parliament is scheduled to consider four bills regulating the cryptoasset market. These include two parliamentary bills and a proposal from the government and president.

This will be the third attempt to regulate this market; two previous government bills were vetoed by President Karol Nawrocki, the Polish Press Agency (PAP) reported.

FUEL PRICES

The Polish Minister of Energy Milosz Motyka told private television station Polsat News that measures aimed at reducing fuel prices could be extended for another two weeks, until the end of May. Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski had previously raised this possibility.

INTEREST RATES

There is no need to raise interest rates in Poland for now, despite inflation rising towards the upper end of the central bank's target range, Monetary Policy Council (MPC) member Henryk Wnorowski told Reuters.
