U.S. TROOPS IN POLAND

The United States will be sending an additional 5,000 troops to Poland, U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday.

Polish President Karol Nawrocki thanked U.S. President Donald Trump for his decision to send additional U.S. troops to Poland.

HUNGARIAN PRIME MINISTER

Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar said the Visegrad Group should be rebuilt and perhaps expanded to include Austria, as well as Croatia, Slovenia, and possibly Romania, Gazeta Wyborcza daily reported.

FUEL PRICES

Economists believe the government should not extend the fuel price reduction program until oil prices reach the levels seen before the US and Israeli attack on Iran, as the program is costly and "poorly calibrated," Rzeczpospolita daily reported.
