An expression of strength Wall Street usually saves for its runaway tech leaders has quietly surfaced somewhere far less glamorous: America’s largest bank.

Shares of JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) are on pace for their eighth straight weekly advance and the longest unbroken run since early 2024. The stock sits about 22% above its 52-week low.

The rally accelerated after second-quarter results on July 14. Adjusted earnings of $6.14 a share beat estimates near $5.85, and revenue of $58 billion marked one of the bank’s largest beats in years.

Trading revenue jumped 35%, and investment banking fees hit their highest since 2021.

Chief Executive Jamie Dimon still urged caution. “It’s getting close to as good as it gets,” he said.
