As you might know, BeOne Medicines AG (NASDAQ:ONC) just kicked off its latest quarterly results with some very strong numbers. It was overall a positive result, with revenues beating expectations by 5.4% to hit US$1.5b. BeOne Medicines also reported a statutory profit of US$1.96, which was an impressive 156% above what the analysts had forecast. Earnings are an important time for investors, as they can track a company's performance, look at what the analysts are forecasting for next year, and see if there's been a change in sentiment towards the company. So we collected the latest post-earnings statutory consensus estimates to see what could be in store for next year.

NasdaqGS:ONC Earnings and Revenue Growth May 8th 2026

After the latest results, the 33 analysts covering BeOne Medicines are now predicting revenues of US$6.47b in 2026. If met, this would reflect a solid 13% improvement in revenue compared to the last 12 months. Statutory earnings per share are predicted to leap 43% to US$6.60. In the lead-up to this report, the analysts had been modelling revenues of US$6.38b and earnings per share (EPS) of US$5.47 in 2026. Although the revenue estimates have not really changed, we can see there's been a massive increase in earnings per share expectations, suggesting that the analysts have become more bullish after the latest result.

The consensus price target was unchanged at US$411, implying that the improved earnings outlook is not expected to have a long term impact on value creation for shareholders. There's another way to think about price targets though, and that's to look at the range of price targets put forward by analysts, because a wide range of estimates could suggest a diverse view on possible outcomes for the business. The most optimistic BeOne Medicines analyst has a price target of US$501 per share, while the most pessimistic values it at US$333. There are definitely some different views on the stock, but the range of estimates is not wide enough as to imply that the situation is unforecastable, in our view.

Of course, another way to look at these forecasts is to place them into context against the industry itself. It's pretty clear that there is an expectation that BeOne Medicines' revenue growth will slow down substantially, with revenues to the end of 2026 expected to display 17% growth on an annualised basis. This is compared to a historical growth rate of 39% over the past five years. Compare this against other companies (with analyst forecasts) in the industry, which are in aggregate expected to see revenue growth of 21% annually. So it's pretty clear that, while revenue growth is expected to slow down, the wider industry is also expected to grow faster than BeOne Medicines.

The Bottom Line

The biggest takeaway for us is the consensus earnings per share upgrade, which suggests a clear improvement in sentiment around BeOne Medicines' earnings potential next year. Fortunately, the analysts also reconfirmed their revenue estimates, suggesting that it's tracking in line with expectations. Although our data does suggest that BeOne Medicines' revenue is expected to perform worse than the wider industry. There was no real change to the consensus price target, suggesting that the intrinsic value of the business has not undergone any major changes with the latest estimates.

With that said, the long-term trajectory of the company's earnings is a lot more important than next year. We have estimates - from multiple BeOne Medicines analysts - going out to 2028, and you can see them free on our platform here.
