PRESSR: Sirar by stc signs a memorandum of understanding with Microsoft to collaborate in cybersecurity fields

Sirar by stc, one of the stc group companies, announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Microsoft on the sidelines of its participation in the Black Hat MEA 2025 events.

The memorandum of understanding aims to expand areas of cooperation in cybersecurity, raise the level of digital protection for the public and private sectors, and enable them to accelerate the pace of digital transformation and build efficient and secure technological systems.

This collaboration comes as part of both parties' efforts to enhance the Kingdom's cybersecurity readiness by developing joint capabilities that combine the expertise of Sirar by stc with Microsoft's technical capabilities. This will be achieved through three main tracks: developing advanced security services based on modern cyber defense technologies; providing integrated solutions that meet the needs of various sectors in the Kingdom; and empowering technical and administrative capabilities through the implementation of joint programs and initiatives that contribute to raising awareness of advanced practices in cybersecurity and data protection.

In addition to expanding communication and integration channels by developing effective cooperation pathways between the two sides to support joint work and enhance the quality of protection and services provided to customers.

For its part, Sirar by stc affirmed that this partnership represents an important step towards building a more secure digital system, and enhancing cooperation with global technology partners to contribute to protecting the digital infrastructure and supporting the digital transformation in the Kingdom.
