Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has completed the acquisition of Ørsted's European onshore platform, leading to the launch of Perigus Energy, a new player in the European onshore renewable energy sector. Operating in Ireland, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Spain, Perigus Energy currently manages 826 MW of operational and under-construction capacity, with a pipeline poised for substantial growth. The company aims to support Europe's energy transition by developing, building, and operating projects in wind, solar, and battery storage, delivering reliable electricity to approximately 600,000 homes.
