This Zura Bio Insider Increased Their Holding In The Last Year
Zura Bio ZURA | 0.00 |
Insiders were net buyers of Zura Bio Limited's (NASDAQ:ZURA ) stock during the past year. That is, insiders bought more stock than they sold.
While insider transactions are not the most important thing when it comes to long-term investing, we do think it is perfectly logical to keep tabs on what insiders are doing.
Zura Bio Insider Transactions Over The Last Year
In the last twelve months, the biggest single purchase by an insider was when insider Leonard Blavatnik bought US$13m worth of shares at a price of US$6.25 per share. That means that an insider was happy to buy shares at around the current price of US$6.30. Of course they may have changed their mind. But this suggests they are optimistic. If someone buys shares at well below current prices, it's a good sign on balance, but keep in mind they may no longer see value. The good news for Zura Bio share holders is that an insider was buying at near the current price. Leonard Blavatnik was the only individual insider to buy during the last year.

Insider Ownership
Many investors like to check how much of a company is owned by insiders. I reckon it's a good sign if insiders own a significant number of shares in the company. Zura Bio insiders own about US$62m worth of shares. That equates to 11% of the company. We've certainly seen higher levels of insider ownership elsewhere, but these holdings are enough to suggest alignment between insiders and the other shareholders.
