- Collins Foods CKF.AX, the operator of KFC restaurants in Australia, reported a fivefold rise in annual profit on Tuesday, supported by new product launches and operational execution, sending its shares to a three-month high.

The company said it sharpened its focus on profitable like‑for‑like sales growth and network expansion in Australia and Germany in full year 2026, while lifting profitability in the Netherlands and elevating restaurant performance to enhance customer experience.

In March, Collins Foods announced plans to transfer 20 of its 27 Taco Bell restaurants in Australia to an affiliate of Yum Brands YUM.N and Restaurant Brands, advancing its exit from what it called the unprofitable business.

The company posted a net profit attributable of A$44.2 million ($30.43 million) for the year ended May 3, compared with A$8.8 million for the year ended April 27, 2025.

Revenue rose 8.6% to A$1.59 billion, supported by growth in its Australian and European operations. The company declared a fully franked final dividend of 15 Australian cents per share, unchanged from last year.

Collins Foods reported results for a 53‑week full year ended May 3, against a 52‑week full year concluded on April 27, 2025.

Shares of Collins Foods climbed as much as 7.8% to A$9.01 in early trade, hitting their highest level since March 27. The stock was on track for a third consecutive session of gains.
