WASHINGTON, April 15 (Reuters) - The United States will punish fraud, manipulation and insider trading in crypto, securities and event contract markets, Washington's top derivatives regulator is due to pledge Thursday in his first congressional testimony since taking office, according to prepared remarks seen by Reuters.
"I want to be crystal clear: to anyone who engages in fraud, manipulation, or insider trading in any of our markets: we will find you, and you will face the full force of the law," said Michael Selig, chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, who took office in December.
