Venezuela appoints new heads for state petrochemical company, tax authority
CARACAS, July 7 (Reuters) - Venezuelan interim president Delcy Rodriguez on Tuesday appointed Jose David Cabello as head of state petrochemical company Pequiven and Roman Maniglia to lead the country's tax authority Seniat, according to a post on social media.
Cabello is the brother of interior minister Diosdado Cabello and had overseen the country's tax authority for more than a decade, while Maniglia also heads state-run Bank of Venezuela.
The changes are announced amid the government's efforts to help thousands of families affected by devastating twin quakes last month.
