W.Africa Crude - TotalEnergies offers Djeno
LONDON, June 29 (Reuters) - TotalEnergies offered West African Djeno crude in the Platts window on Monday, while other West African crude oil differentials were stable in an otherwise quiet session.
TotalEnergies withdrew an offer for a July 27-28 Djeno cargo at dated Brent minus $12.80, a trader said.
On Friday, Chevron offered Nigerian Escravos in the Platts window at dated Brent plus $2.50 before withdrawing.
West African differentials are under pressure from lacklustre demand in Asia and stiff competition in other buying regions from rival Middle Eastern and Latin American supplies, traders and analysts have told Reuters.
Exports of the four main Nigerian crude oil grades are scheduled at around 764,000 barrels per day in August, or about 9.8% lower than July, preliminary programs show.
Angola will load a total of 35 crude oil cargoes in August, amounting to 1.09 million barrels per day, a trade source told Reuters - an increase of 22% from July.
