Taiwan's annual COMPUTEX trade show is set to commence, with this year's theme centered on "AI Together". The 4-day expo will be kicked off by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, who is expected to deliver a keynote speech (2300 ET, May 31 / 0300 GMT, June 1). Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon is also scheduled to deliver a keynote address. (0200 ET/0600 GMT) Later in the day, Marvell CEO Matt Murphy is set to deliver a speech titled "The Future of AI Scaling Depends on Connectivity". Jensen Huang will join Murphy on stage to discuss how Marvell and Nvidia are working together to provide customers with greater choice and flexibility in developing next-generation AI infrastructure. U.S. manufacturing activity, as measured by the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), is expected to edge higher to 53 in May. The manufacturing PMI was unchanged at 52.7 in April, near a four-year high. Meanwhile, S&P Global's final manufacturing PMI for May is also due, after the flash estimate rose to 55.3 from 54.5 in April, marking its highest level since May 2022.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is expected to report higher second-quarter revenue, helped by growing demand for its AI servers and networking products.

Federal Reserve Board Governor Jerome Powell will give his acceptance remarks before the John F. Kennedy Profile in the Courage Award Ceremony in Boston.

Canadian factory PMI for May, as gauged by the S&P Global Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index, is due. The index rose to 53.3 in April.

Bank of Canada senior deputy governor Carolyn Rogers is set to appear before a parliamentary committee to discuss monetary policy.

In Latin America, S&P Global is expected to release May manufacturing PMI data for Brazil and Mexico. Meanwhile, Chile's central bank will publish economic activity data for April.

Investors will closely watch a range of key indicators to gauge the health of the U.S. labor market next week. May nonfarm payrolls, due Friday, are expected to slow to 86,000 from April's 115,000, with private payroll growth also seen easing to 75,000. The unemployment rate, however, is projected to remain steady at 4.3%. The Bureau of Labor Statistics will release April job openings and labor turnover data on Tuesday, with job openings seen declining to 6.815 million. ADP will publish its national employment report on Wednesday, where private sector hiring is expected to rise by 118,000 in May, while the Labor Department's weekly jobless claims figures are scheduled for release on Thursday. In addition, the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) is expected to report a modest uptick in its non-manufacturing PMI to 53.7 from April's 53.6. The Census Bureau will also release factory orders data, with new orders for manufactured goods forecast to increase by 4.6%.

Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis President Neel Kashkari is slated to take part in a panel at the 2026 Bank of Korea International Conference in South Korea on Tuesday. On the same day, Cleveland Fed President Beth Hammack will engage in conversation on monetary policy at Cleveland. On Wednesday, Fed Governor Michael Barr is set to take part in a conversation before the Community Development Bankers Association (CDBA) Peer Forum 2026 in Washington. Later in the day, Dallas Fed President Lorie Logan will share insights from her leadership role at the Federal Reserve, being a voting member of the Federal Open Market Committee and perspectives on the evolving economic landscape in a conversation as part of the "Listening in 360 Tour" in El Paso. Thursday will see San Francisco Fed President Mary Daly take part in a panel before the Bloomberg Technology Summit in San Francisco.

Broadcom's revenue is expected to rise in the second quarter when it reports results on Wednesday, supported by strong demand for its custom chips as cloud companies race to expand AI infrastructure and find alternatives to Nvidia's dominant processors.

COMPUTEX tech expo will host Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan on Tuesday, who is expected to share the company's vision for AI-driven computing and spotlight the infrastructure powering it.

Discount store operator Dollar General is expected to post a rise in first-quarter revenue on Tuesday. Investors will look out for comments on consumer sentiment, the impact of retail shrink trends, inventory levels, recent tariff developments and annual forecasts.

Jack Daniel's maker Brown-Forman is expected to report a decline in fourth-quarter revenue on Thursday, hurt by weak demand for premium spirits, including whisky and tequila. Investors will look out for comments on annual forecasts and efforts to cut costs and boost demand.

Palo Alto is set to report a jump in quarterly revenue when it reports third-quarter results on Tuesday, as more businesses adopt cybersecurity solutions to tackle rising online threats.

CrowdStrike's revenue is expected to surge during the first quarter when it reports results on Wednesday on growing demand for its artificial intelligence-powered cybersecurity solutions.

Macy's is expected to post its first-quarter sales on Wednesday as it struggles with weak demand from cost-conscious consumers. Investors will watch for commentary on demand and consumer spending, as well as annual forecasts.

Ulta Beauty is expected to post a rise in its first-quarter revenue on Tuesday. Investors will focus on the company's annual outlook, comments on current consumer demand trends, beauty industry strength, expansion plans and margins.

Lululemon Athletica is expected to post a rise in its first-quarter revenue on Thursday. Investors will watch out for comments on consumer spending, forecasts and brand revival under the new CEO.

In Canada, Statistics Canada will provide insight into the country's job market in May with employment change and unemployment rate figures due on Friday. On the same day, Richard Ivey School of Business will publish Ivey PMI data for May.

In Latin America, Brazil will await May inflation data on Tuesday. The country's statistics agency is expected to release industrial output data for April on Wednesday, while S&P Global will publish services and composite PMI data on the same day. May's trade balance is also on the tap. In Mexico, INEGI will publish consumer confidence data for May on Friday.
