The news quickly
Saudi real estate company Laden Investment intends to move from the parallel market of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Nomu) to the main market, and has announced that it has submitted a request to the relevant authorities, according to a statement on Wednesday.
Nomu is a parallel market that allows small and medium-sized companies to offer and list their shares with fewer requirements than the main market. It also allows companies traded in it to move to the main market after two years after complying with the conditions of this market, with the exception of market value.
The Nomu market officially began in February 2017, at which time only initial public offerings were allowed, and then direct listings were officially allowed in February 2019.

A quick look at the company
(According to official data and press statements)
The company was founded in 2004, though its operations date back to 1968. It specializes in the development and management of residential, commercial, hotel, and entertainment complexes. It operates exclusively in Saudi Arabia.
The company was listed on the Nomu market in June 2022, and its board of directors approved the move to the Main Market in October 2023.
The company’s net profit declined by about 34% year-on-year during the first half of this year, recording 21.3 million riyals ($5.7 million).
The company said that the decline in net profit during the first half of 2025 was driven by an 81% year-on-year increase in financing costs, despite a decrease in administrative and general expenses and an improvement in income from operating activities by 19% and 13% respectively.
The company aims to expand its hospitality portfolio and expects to add 4 to 5 new assets in Saudi Arabia by 2028.
