Sisi: The infrastructure cost for the New Delta project is $15 billion.
CAIRO, May 17 (Reuters) - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said on Sunday that the New Delta project, which aims to transform a vast area of desert west of the Nile River estuary into agricultural land, includes infrastructure costing 800 billion Egyptian pounds ($15.05 billion).
Sisi made the remarks during the inauguration of the massive agricultural project, which spans 2.3 million acres.
