Quick profile: New managing director for "SACO" Saudi Arabia home furnishings trading company

The board of directors of Saudi Company for Hardware and Tools (SACO), a Saudi company operating in the trade of household supplies and listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange, appointed Sakhr Jamjoom as managing director, according to a company statement to the stock exchange on Tuesday.
The board's decision stipulated that Jamjoom would remain in office until the end of the current board term on July 19, 2029. It also stipulated that the company's CEO's contract, which expires at the end of next October, would not be renewed, without specifying a replacement.

Saco operates in the sale of household supplies including electronics, furniture and furnishings, and has more than 30 stores in 18 cities in the Kingdom.
The company has been active for more than 40 years and has been listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange since 2015.
- Jamjoom has over 30 years of experience in global companies across several sectors including consumer goods, oils, manufacturing and logistics.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University (1991) and a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from the same university (1993). He also holds a certificate in Corporate Governance from the Wharton School of the University of Texas.
- He worked for more than 12 years at the global consumer goods company Procter & Gamble until he reached the position of Group Operations Manager between 2003 - 2005, followed by several positions and board memberships in several companies.
- He has been working for 4 years at Halwani Brothers Saudi Arabia, and he held the position of Managing Director during the period from April 2024 to November 2025.
