Aramco CEO: Oil market will lose about 100 million barrels per week if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed
DUBAI, May 11 (Reuters) - Saudi Aramco Chief Executive Amin Nasser said on Monday that the oil market could lose about 100 million barrels per week if the disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz continue at the current level and the strait remains closed.
He added, "We expect demand to remain conserved as long as the supply disruption through the Strait of Hormuz continues. If trade and shipping resume normally, we expect a very strong return to demand growth."
