Dubai, UAE: Chery Emirates, part of Abdul Wahed Al Rostamani Automobiles, announced a new milestone in its ongoing journey to enhance customer experience and promote service excellence with the opening of the new Abdul Wahed Al Rostamani Automobile Academy facility in Abu Dhabi, enabling the company to invest in the continuous development of its technical, sales and after-sales teams .

The new training facility is located in Mohammed Bin Zayed City in Abu Dhabi, and supports talent development in the automotive sector in Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE market. By accessing this new training facility, Chery Emirates is strengthening its market growth trajectory by ensuring its employees are equipped with the technical knowledge, product expertise, and customer-centric skills necessary to deliver a consistently high level of ownership experience across the UAE, supported by extensive training capabilities .

The Abdul Wahed Al Rostamani Automotive Academy also operates a 736-square-meter facility in Sharjah, featuring advanced technical training areas and state-of-the-art classrooms designed to support both practical and theoretical learning. The two facilities work together to enable teams from the major automotive brands represented by Abdul Wahed Al Rostamani Automotive in the UAE, including Chery, to enhance their capabilities in line with evolving customer expectations and industry standards.

The academy helps Chery UAE build a stronger base of trained technicians, service advisors, sales specialists, and operational teams. Training areas include mechanical engineering programs, bodywork workshops, product knowledge, sales and service excellence, soft skills, and vehicle operations management.

In 2025, the Academy delivered 3,361 training days for employees through 359 sessions, reflecting the growing importance of structured skills development in the automotive sector. These programs are delivered by a team of nine certified and qualified automotive trainers, led by Mr. Subramaniam N.K., ensuring compliance with regional and international standards .
