Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain : Amana Healthcare Bahrain was honored to welcome His Excellency Mr. Fahad Mohammed Salem Kardous Al Ameri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at its facility in Al Jasra. He was received by Dr. Mohammed Amin Al Saati, CEO of M42 Bahrain, along with a number of senior staff members from both M42 Bahrain and Amana Healthcare Bahrain.
The talks highlighted the deep-rooted historical ties between Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, which continue to flourish under the leadership and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. The meeting also underscored the importance of ongoing cooperation between the two sisterly nations within the Gulf Cooperation Council across vital sectors, most notably healthcare, innovation, and human development.
Dr. Mohammed Amin Al Saati pointed out that the presence of M42 , a global leader in healthcare based in Abu Dhabi, and its continued expansion in the Kingdom of Bahrain, strongly indicates the spirit of cooperation between Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, stressing the pivotal role of this partnership in driving innovation, exchanging experiences, and creating important job opportunities that contribute to improving healthcare outcomes and the quality of life for communities across the region.
During the visit, His Excellency the Ambassador toured the state-of-the-art Amana Healthcare Bahrain facility, where he was briefed on the hospital's specialized services, advanced rehabilitation capabilities, and human-centered care model. The tour included rehabilitation and treatment facilities such as a hydrotherapy pool, specialized training rooms, and a care environment designed to support recovery, healing, and promote long-term health.
Amana Healthcare – Bahrain is a prime example of the exchange of specialized healthcare knowledge and expertise between the UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain. Established in strategic partnership with Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat), M42 has for the first time expanded its pioneering and proven model of long-term post-acute rehabilitation beyond the UAE, making Amana Healthcare – Bahrain the first facility of its kind in the Kingdom.
