The organization of the program comes in line with the directions of the UAE government in building more flexible and future-ready institutions, and supporting the government work system based on innovation and anticipating future challenges and opportunities, in order to enhance the sustainability of the health sector and raise its global competitiveness.
His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Zarouni, Executive Director of the Financial and Support Services Sector at Emirates Health Services Corporation , affirmed that investing in developing the skills of strategic leaders and enabling them to employ future-oriented thinking tools is a strategic priority for the corporation, noting that the health sector is witnessing rapid transformations that require leadership cadres capable of anticipating changes and making flexible decisions based on data and knowledge.
His Excellency added that the program embodies an advanced model of integration between the health and academic sectors, through cooperation with Rochester Institute of Technology in Dubai, as one of the world’s leading universities that offers specialized executive programs based on analysis, innovation and strategic decision-making, which contributes to transferring best practices and applied experiences, and supporting the development of an innovative and sustainable health system capable of keeping pace with the country’s aspirations and future vision.
The program included several specialized modules, covering the principles of future foresight, identifying global trends and emerging technologies, developing proactive scenarios to create a clear roadmap for the future, and analyzing data, strategic planning, and developing implementation procedures. This enhanced participants' ability to lead organizational transformation efficiently and sustainably. The program also featured innovation labs and interactive sessions aimed at developing innovative future solutions to health challenges and fostering a culture of proactive thinking and collaborative work, thereby supporting the development of a more resilient and future-proof organizational environment.
