Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi Al Saud, Governor of Jeddah Governorate, and in the presence of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Mr. Abdulmohsen bin Mohammed Al-Mazyad, Taiba Company, one of the leading Saudi companies in owning, developing and operating hospitality and tourism projects and listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), officially launched the Rixos Abhur Jeddah Hotel and Resort, in a step that enhances the Kingdom’s position as a global tourist destination, and presents a new model of luxury hospitality on the Red Sea coast.
The inauguration ceremony featured a symbolic moment: the complete illumination of the hotel and resort, heralding the birth of a new hotel landmark spanning nearly 90,000 square meters, and enhancing the status of the Red Sea's bride among the world's most prominent coastal tourism destinations.
The ceremony included a presentation of an introductory film showcasing the unique features and facilities of the resort, followed by a tour for guests inside the project, which is strategically located in the heart of Abhur Al Shamaliyah in Jeddah, close to King Abdulaziz International Airport and the city’s most prominent landmarks, such as King Abdullah Sports City and Jeddah Superdome.
In his speech during the ceremony, Professor Sultan bin Badr Al-Otaibi, CEO of Taiba Company, said, “The inauguration of this edifice comes at a very important time, as we celebrate the achievements of Saudi Vision 2030 ten years after its launch, to confirm our commitment at Taiba to drive the transformation process in the tourism sector, and to enable Saudi destinations to consolidate their leading and competitive position on the global tourism map.”
Al-Otaibi added that the opening of Rixos Abhur Jeddah comes within the framework of Taiba’s adoption of the concept of “advanced hospitality”, which combines the authenticity of the Saudi heritage with the highest international standards, in a way that contributes to achieving the goals of the vision through the development of the tourism sector and the creation of quality job opportunities for national talents.
The launch of this landmark hotel represents the culmination of a partnership between Taiba and Rixos Hotels, one of the leading international hotel brands in the integrated beach resort category, and offers a unique model for luxury and sustainable coastal tourism. Rixos Abhur Jeddah is the first hotel and resort in the Kingdom to offer the " All-Inclusive, All-Exclusive " concept, providing guests with a comprehensive experience that combines luxurious accommodations, entertainment, and exceptional dining experiences in one exclusive package.
The resort features 250 hotel units, including 74 luxurious villas with private pools, along with comprehensive facilities such as a marina for yachts and water sports, the Rixy Kids Club with its dedicated facilities, a state-of-the-art luxury spa, a grand ballroom, a business center, and multiple meeting rooms.
