Jeddah, Saudi Arabia: Fakeeh College of Medical Sciences announced that its Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) program has received the ASPIRE-to-Excellence award in the curriculum development track for 2026, which is awarded by the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE), and is considered one of the highest international awards in the field of medical education.

The International Committee for the Aspire Award praised the college’s outstanding development journey, confirming that the college’s Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery program has an integrated educational strategy, a coherent curriculum, early clinical exposure, modern student-centered learning methods, an advanced system for assessment and quality assurance, in addition to the growing culture of scientific research in medical education.

With this prestigious international achievement, Fakieh College of Medical Sciences joins the global network of the ASPIR Academy for Excellence in Medical Education, becoming one of the leading academic institutions that is emulated and relied upon globally in the development of medical curricula. The College’s Board of Trustees has commended this great national achievement.
