Doha, Qatar – Qatar Foundation and WOOPP, the world’s leading wearable technology company, announced a partnership to advance education, technology and innovation, contributing to a better future for human health and performance .

This partnership aims to enable the institution’s students and graduates to acquire the skills, experience and opportunities necessary to succeed in the advanced health and fitness technology sector, in addition to supporting advanced research in the fields of sports science and wellness .

This partnership focuses on creating new pathways that enable Qatar Foundation students and graduates to access educational and professional opportunities, bridging the gap between education and relevant labor market needs. Through practical experiences, exposure to emerging technologies, and engagement in real-world applications, participants will acquire the skills necessary to succeed in a rapidly evolving sector .

In addition to talent development, Qatar Foundation and WOOP will collaborate to explore joint research opportunities in areas including sports science, wellness and precision health .

The partnership agreement was signed at Education City, in the presence of Yousef Al-Naama, CEO of Qatar Foundation, and Will Ahmad, founder and CEO of WooP. The partnership will extend to programs and events both within and outside Education City, with the aim of engaging community members in meaningful ways and encouraging them to adopt more active and healthier lifestyles .

In this context, Alanoud Hassan Darwish, Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships and Alignments at Qatar Foundation, said: “This partnership with WOB represents an important step in our commitment to empowering students and graduates with opportunities that go beyond the classroom .
