Dutch benchmark gas contract falls 10% after US-Iran deal
LONDON, June 15 (Reuters) - The benchmark Dutch wholesale gas contract fell 10 percent on Friday afternoon, extending earlier losses after U.S. President Donald Trump and Iran's deputy foreign minister announced a preliminary agreement to end the trade war between Washington and Tehran.
Data from the Intercontinental Exchange showed that the benchmark Dutch contract for the nearest month of maturity in the Dutch transfer of ownership index fell 4.623 euros to 42.14 euros per megawatt-hour by 1559 GMT.
