Saudi real estate development and asset management company Laden Investment, listed on the parallel market “Nomu”, has renewed its plans to move to the main market of the Saudi Stock Exchange, at a time when real estate companies are expanding and their businesses are growing as the real estate sector in the Kingdom accelerates.

According to a statement released by the Saudi Stock Exchange on Sunday, the company has submitted a request to transfer to the main market. The company had previously attempted this move at the end of last year but needed to fulfill certain requirements.

The real estate sector – one of the most active non-oil sectors in the Kingdom, which is seeking to diversify its economy away from oil – has contributed about 14% to the Kingdom’s GDP, according to the latest data issued by the Saudi General Authority for Real Estate.
