May 26 (Reuters) - Micron's market capitalization surpassed $1 trillion for the first time on Tuesday, capping a stunning rally that has cemented the largest U.S. memory chip maker's position among the top winners of the artificial intelligence boom.
The company's stock rose 18 percent to $886.6, and data from the London Stock Exchange Group indicates that today's rise comes after UBS brokerage raised its target price for the stock from $535 to $1,625, the highest price among 46 brokerage firms covering the stock.
