- The Kuwaiti military said on Sunday it had detected and dealt with a number of hostile drones in its airspace, marking the first such incident since a ceasefire in the Iran war took effect in April.

The official spokesman for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Abdul Aziz Al-Atwan, stated that the armed forces "detected a number of hostile drones inside Kuwaiti airspace at dawn today and dealt with them according to the approved procedures."

Days earlier, the UAE's air defenses dealt with two ballistic missiles and three drones launched by Iran, resulting in three injuries.

Kuwait has previously said that its air defenses dealt with missiles and drones during the war, including a wave of drones that targeted vital infrastructure on April 8.
