Agency: Iran's Revolutionary Guard says two ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz via the southern route were involved in an incident, while two other ships abandoned the crossing.
DUBAI, July 19 (Reuters) - Iran's semi-official Tasnim news agency quoted the Revolutionary Guard as saying on Sunday that two ships were involved in an "accident" while trying to cross the Strait of Hormuz from an "unsafe route," while two other vessels abandoned the route.
The Guard explained that the four ships ignored Iranian warnings and acted with American support.
The Guard warned in a statement that "ships influenced by American statements and taking unsafe routes will inevitably face accidents."
