June 12 (Reuters) - The Standard & Poor's 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average opened higher on Friday, buoyed by hopes of an imminent Middle East peace deal, while investors braced for the SpaceX IPO, which is expected to be the largest in Wall Street history.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 300 points, or 0.59 percent, to 51,148.73, and the Standard & Poor's 500 gained 16.6 points, or 0.22 percent, to 7,410.85.
The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 26.3 points, or 0.10 percent, to 25,783.359 points.
