July 21 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes opened higher on Tuesday, as semiconductor stocks continued their recovery from the latest sell-off, while investors awaited earnings announcements from major technology companies for clues about the future of trading in artificial intelligence stocks.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 77.5 points, or 0.15 percent, to 51,916.79. The S&P 500 opened 46.7 points, or 0.63 percent, higher at 7,489.95.
The Nasdaq Composite Index advanced 264.5 points, or 1.04 percent, to 25,772.549 points.
