May 14 (Reuters) - Wall Street indexes opened higher on Thursday, with shares of Nvidia jumping, amid an assessment of economic data and monitoring of developments surrounding the crucial U.S.-China summit.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 150.4 points, or 0.30 percent, to 49,843.58. The S&P 500 gained 10.1 points, or 0.14 percent, to 7,454.4, and the Nasdaq Composite added 23.1 points, or 0.09 percent, to 26,425.468.
