MOSCOW, May 25 (Reuters) - The Caspian Pipeline Consortium, which delivers oil from Kazakhstan to global markets via a Russian terminal on the Black Sea, increased oil exports in April by about 5% from March, two industry sources told Reuters on Monday.
CPC increased oil exports in April to 6.314 million metric tons, or 1.67 million barrels per day, from 6.196 million tons in March, two industry sources said.
Exports increased thanks to a 16% jump in Kazakhstan's oil production.
Kazakhstan is set to redirect 160,000 metric tons of oil previously planned for Germany to CPC this month.
CPC plans to raise oil exports to 72 million tons this year, up from 70.5 million tons in 2025.
CPC's main shareholders are Russia (31%), Kazakhstan (20.75%), Chevron CVX.N (15%) and other companies.
