TASI Mid-Market Update — May 20, 2026
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark index, Tadawul All Shares Index(TASI.SA), declined by 0.1% during early trading on Wednesday, reflecting a broader downturn across regional markets as global macroeconomic pressures weighed on investor sentiment. The downward movement was visible across most sectors on the Saudi Exchange.

Among the notable decliners in early activity, Banque Saudi Fransi(1050.SA) fell by 3.8%, while Arabian Internet and Communications Services Co.(7202.SA) dropped by 4%.
The early-trade performance occurred against a backdrop of weaker Asian equities, persistent sell-offs in global bond markets driven by anticipation of potential U.S. Federal Reserve policy tightening, and elevated oil prices amid ongoing shipping constraints in the Strait of Hormuz.
In the large-cap sector, Al Rajhi Bank(1120.SA) is seeing a slight dip of 0.02%. The Saudi National Bank(1180.SA) is edging higher by 0.47%. Saudi Arabian Mining Co.(1211.SA) is easing by 0.1%. ACWA POWER Co.(2082.SA) is surging by 2.6%. Saudi Basic Industries Corp.(2010.SA) is easing by 0.6%. Saudi Arabian Oil Co.(2222.SA) is lower by 0.2%.
