Zawya - Press Releases: The Rental Disputes Center and the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity Foundation pay AED 3.5 million to release detainees in rental cases.
(Dubai): In line with a humanitarian approach embodying the values of compassion and social solidarity in the Emirate of Dubai, the Rental Disputes Center, represented by its “Hand of Goodness” Committee, launched its new initiative entitled “Eid Gathering” in cooperation with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment, coinciding with the arrival of Eid Al-Adha. This humanitarian initiative targets a number of families facing rental disputes, aiming to alleviate their financial burdens during the Eid period.
The initiative is based on settling the financial obligations of 54 detainees held on rental-related charges, by paying a total amount of 3.5 million dirhams, which allows for their release and enables them to return to their family and social environment in the atmosphere of Eid .
These joint efforts come within the framework of institutional integration that combines charitable and community work, where the values of cooperation between the center and the foundation contribute to deepening the impact of the initiative and expanding its humanitarian scope, thus enhancing the stability of the targeted families .
In this context, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian Foundation continues to consolidate its humanitarian presence through community initiatives and contributions aimed at alleviating the burdens on needy and struggling families, and promoting the spirit of solidarity and mutual support, in line with its mission to create a sustainable humanitarian impact within and outside the UAE .
The “Eid Gathering” initiative expresses an integrated vision based on addressing the social repercussions of rental issues, especially those that lead to legal consequences that reach imprisonment, where the focus is on finding practical solutions that restore balance to the lives of individuals and reduce the living conditions of their families, within a work system that takes into account the human and judicial dimensions alike.
This trend underscores the pivotal role played by the Rental Disputes Center in supporting family and social stability in Dubai, through quality initiatives that go beyond addressing disputes to adopting solutions that consolidate social cohesion and reduce the effects of financial distress on families .
The initiative also represents an extension of a continuous humanitarian path aimed at bringing joy to homes and reviving the spirit of the religious occasion in an atmosphere of compassion, by reuniting inmates with their families in a moment that carries social dimensions and increases the strength of family ties.
