Common Issues with Deposit Transfers
1. Al Rajhi Bank Deposit Transfers
Beneficiary Last Name: Always use "MONY" as the last name of the beneficiary. Using any other information may lead to rejections due to mismatched details.
2. Arab Bank Account Number
Correct Account Number: If you don't have an IBAN, ensure you enter the last 15 digits of the correct Sahm beneficiary account number when making a deposit transfer. Using the full account number may result in an "invalid account number" error.
3. Third-Party Bank Transfers Not Accepted
Please note that Sahm does not accept deposits made via third-party bank accounts. All deposits must be made from a bank account that matches the name registered on your account. Deposits that cannot be matched due to a name mismatch or those made from third-party accounts will be refunded. The refund process will take 14 business days.
